I absolutely am amazed at the quality and sound of this guitar. When I opened the box, it looked beautiful. I tuned it to EADGBE (oh, the integrated tuner is really great too – accurate and easy to use), played a D-chord on the 2nd fret and then on the 14th fret. It was in perfect harmonic tune! I have a humidifier in my guitar case (yes, I recommend spending an additional $100 to get the case – worth it) as I am in Michigan where the humidity can get crazy dry in winter. The guitar has a lovely warm tone to it with medium gauge strings. It can also be surprisingly loud. The neck and bridge are very comfortable to play on.
I later tuned it to drop-D and it still sounded great.
I did place a very thin pick guard on the guitar to protect it as I often strum with a pick. Overall, a great guitar.

I love my sunburst cutaway Freja! Not only is it endlessly beautiful to look at, it beckons to be played, and the sound is fullbodied and sweet, both deep and light at once! It is a JOY to hold and play, and becoming my best friend as I rebuild myself as a musician, slowly, lovingly – I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis about 8 years ago, and even the little things become difficult.
But this talented, personable beauty of an instrument makes it easy again…
Thank you, Andrew White, for your vision and humble, but extraordinary, craftsmanship.

I just opened my box today and I must say I am amazed. First it’s stunningly beautiful. But beyond that is the feel and playability. I have a Babicz Spider that would be close to double the sale price of this. It sounds and plays amazing. But I have to see that right out of the box I fell in love with this. It sounds better than my Soider (and I didn’t think that was possible) and plays every bit as nice. I asked for a little bit of a special setup and it was no problem. It’s perfect. Nice and low and plays almost like an electric. The sustain is crazy and notes ring out like you would not believe. I play mostly rock and pop. It will cover all that and much more. It can sound bluesy or almost classical with finger picking. The best investment I have made in some time. And their arched cases are nice too. You can nit go wrong. I think this color may be out of stock but any in this line would do. Or wait and grab one as soon as they get in stock. My new favorite. And the Artec system sounds amazing through my new Quad Cortex.
My mother brought me this as a gift and wow I have had over 30 in my life and this one is amazing.
