  1. Beautiful

This guitar is absolutely stunning and well made, definitely a unique guitar and beautiful. I love the abalone inlays and the overall finish and playability is superb, I highly recommend. The sound is a little more muted than the Sitka spruce top, but it still has a great, deep sound

Not many folks have had the pleasure to see Andrew’s guitars much less get to play them.
So…when the opportunity arises, perhaps they too will find the fit, finish, feel and the tones as remarkable as I did.
The nuances that took work to bring out with technique on other brand names seemed easier on Andrews guitars. Inspirational.

Boutique quality instruments, available at prices that the masses can afford. Andrew strives to innovate with what he does with his instruments, from his unique bracing techniques, to the selection on soundboard woods to find the best wood grains for sound production.

The Andrew White line builds hand made features and innovations in a production guitar that will not disappoint you. It is good to do business with a really good person at the top of his profession.

Andrew White Guitars must surely be a brand to watch – by my reckoning, they could be the next Taylor. The recent Production series models may be Korean made, but the fit, finish and attention to detail really is second to none. Body stylings are truly unique, and offer voicings you wont hear in other makes, most of which seem to follow the same-old tried and tested body shape. AW is also a well-known luthier who also produces hand-made instruments that easily compare with the likes of Fylde and Froggy Bottom.

I’ve owned Martin, Taylor, Maton, and countless others in this list and because I’m a certified tech since 1972 and worked at guitar shops and music stores all over the US I think people who are saying it’s Martin, Taylor or nothing should do what I’ve done for the last however many yrs. from 72 til now don’t be so close minded and give some of the newer up and comers a fair chance. I once thought Martin was no. 1, then Taylor, and now I would definitely say the Tommy Emmanuel Maton and The Andrew White Guitars run neck and neck for first place and if you haven’t tried them please do! The Andrew White comes out ahead of Maton in my eyes because they have more outstanding models to choose from.

I’ve met and talked to Andrew as his shop is 20 minutes from me. When you talk guitars to Andrew, you will get the feeling that this man knows his guitar building. He strives for perfection in his small WV workshop. There is plenty of evidence seeing some of his production models hanging on display. His quiet voice belies his guitar building abilities. As a luthier, his personal hand made guitars command a big price tag. But when you understand how he builds them, you’ll understand why.

  9. Surprised

An absolutely beautiful instrument! I am by no means a professional player but usually play to relax or put my kid to sleep. There is an astonishing difference from almost every guitar I have touched and played. The sound and tones a crisp and beautiful the feel is natural. I truthfully always thought I was just not good at playing guitar however, my wife convinced me to buy this one. I now realize there is a massive difference between these guitars and off the wall mass produced guitars. At this point I just feel bad I ever doubted an Andrew White guitar and plan on getting another one. If your hesitant, buy it. If you don’t believe me, read the other comments. 200% worth every dollar and quite honestly completely undersold for the quality and craftsmanship.

Exceptional level of quality, especially in view of the very accessible price point! The EOS 2A2 has a very pretty and unique design–just gorgeous! Fit and finish are perfect, and the tone surpasses my other guitars in the price range. The case is also a pleasant surprise; very good design! All in all, I will mark this buy as a victory!

I’m absolutely in love with my Andrew White guitars. Last fall I got a Freja 2S2 Nat. It has a great full-bodied sound. I use it regularly when leading worship at our church. More recently I got an EOS 2A2 Nat. It is simply gorgeous. It was a wonderful woody sound with excellent string separation—it’s perfect for fingerstyle guitar. Thank you for making such wonderful instruments.

One of the most beautiful guitars made. Only the maple top guitars can rival it.

Beautifully book matched. Gorgeous wood, tasteful, lovely rosette, binding and fret markers make this an exceptionally good looking guitar. Intonation is perfect. This guitar has astounding mid-range, with bass and treble still holding their own. Nice balance between warm and bright tone, both acoustic and plugged in. Neck finished is smooth, not sticky and frets are dressed perfectly. Comparable to guitars three times the price, this guitar is a fabulous value. Couldm’t be happier with it.

I’ve played a lot of great acoustics, and these days you can find great guitars without breaking the bank. I chose an Andrew White Eos because I was looking for something unique, affordable & different. When I first saw it I was spellbound. This guitar has a very appealing & ergonomic shape. It’s essentially a hybrid guitar. Mr.White has combined a OOO upper bout with a Dreadnaught lower bout & the results are stunning. I love everything about this guitar, the sound, feel, look, preamp system, just a beautiful instrument. Being a seasoned player, I would highly recommend it!

  14. Sounds as good as it looks!

    Ben Soterik

Single notes sustain for more than 35 seconds with a light pluck. This guitar has more pronounced mids and highs than any other guitar in my collection. Intonation is awesome even for alternate tunings. The guitar inspired new music.

Playability and beautiful voices out of the box is unmatched in the industry. The beautiful voices are attributed to Andrew’s unique designs. I’ve been to Andrew White’s shop in Morgantown, WV and was very impressed with his innovations, attention to detail and quality. The Andrew White line builds hand made features and innovations in a production guitar that will not disappoint you. It is good to do business with a really good person at the top of his profession.
