David from Indiana records his Freja 112 heads up vs his HD-28

Here’s a nifty testimonial I got from a very satisfied customer recently:

I recently took delivery of an Andrew White Freja 112 left handed guitar. Other guitars I own are a Martin HD28, a Taylor 656ce 12 string, a Delgado custom concert classical, a Delgado tenor ukulele, and the aforementioned Freja. I love them all and have thinned my guitar collection from nine over the past year or so. These are the keepers. I did a side by side test of my Martin and Andrew White axes (both are 6 string acoustics). I mostly play finger style so I recorded the same piece on both guitars using the same microphone and software. The sound difference was negligible.

About the two guitars:

The Martin was made in 2012, has sold Indian Rosewood back and sides, a solid Sitka Spruce top, scalloped bracing, ebony fretboard and professional setup which included lowering the action a bit. I paid $2700 for the guitar.

The Andrew White guitar has a laminated Indian Rosewood back and sides, Solid Sitka Spruce top, scalloped bracing. The only modification done was swapping the factory bridge pins for ebony pins. The finish of the guitar is fantastic. This guy looks and plays like a guitar that costs significantly more, a lot more.
